The electrical discharge machining machine uses a pulse discharge between the electrode and the workpiece to cause spark eroding to cut conductive materials. The EDM uses electrode immersed into dielectric fluid to realize high-precision machining of super-hard conductive workpieces.

Automotive Manufacturing: EDM machines are used to produce complex automotive parts and molds for processing plastic parts, castings, forgings, or stamped parts. These parts vary in form and structure, are small and intricate, and require high precision with strict requirements on surface roughness and dimensions, necessitating EDM machines with extremely high positioning accuracy and repeatability.
Aerospace Industry: EDM machines are used to fabricate complex and precision parts made of high-temperature resistant alloys, titanium alloys, aluminum, and other materials. Quality Control of C-TEK EDM Machine
1. Control cabinet test
Incoming inspection ---- This is where we determine whether the material’s inductance, capacitance, and resistance meet our standards using an LCR meter. Only qualified products are allowed into the warehouse.
Circuit board inspection ---- Circuit board performance is tested and adjusted using a test tool and oscilloscope.
Wiring test ---- Wires are tested to ensure they are soldered properly using a testing device.
Circuit board machine test ---- Each circuit board undergoes electrical discharge testing for 4 hours for qualification.
Control cabinet stability test ---- We can detect its stability by using each control cabinet for 24 hours in an environment with a temperature of 45℃.
Body structure processing and assembly inspection ---- Every assembly step must pass the test using the dial gauge before entering the next assembly step.
2. EDM machine test
Body detection ---- Apply 3 axis accuracy detection by dial gauge and precision checking gauge. The wire will not be assembled if the body doesn’t pass the test.
Running test ---- Using EDM to drill the holes to test EDM machine's accuracy; The diameter of the hole is from the thinnest to the thickest. After drilling 14 holes, check the holes to determine whether the machine is running normally.
CNC EDM test ---- A laser is used to measure and adjust controller data to improve accuracy. Therefore, the accuracy of products can be ensured.
